Hi all! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We were blessed with such amazing weather this weekend, the humidity was low, the sun was out and there was the most amazing cool breeze. I found myself down at Lincoln Road Mall to get my Laduree fix, grab some lunch and just enjoy this beautiful weather. Also and a bonus decided to swing by Trader Joes since the only closest one is down in Miami.
Though they didn’t have any of the Nina Ricci gold macrons that day I was lucky enough to get one of the boxes filled with all of my favorite flavors! ( and by favorite flavors I mean I got one of each!!!!!) Can I just add that I am always taken aback by how beautiful the Laduree windows always are and it doesn’t hurt that the Nina Ricci theme is hot pink!
And of course I had to the Miami Beach Art Deco Box as well since I didn’t get it the last time!!!!
If any of you have been to New York then I am sure you have heard of Serendipity, we are lucky enough to have one of our own and my beau and I stopped in for lunch ( my favorite tomato soup) and of course a classic Frozen Hot Chocolate for two!
They also added a Dylan’s Candy Bar and as you can imagine every sugary confection you could think of is housed in this candy land dream. I was so excited to able to have all of my favorite Dylan’s Candy Bar easier then ever now and I loved picking up a few of my favorites! I am so excited to have one so close but I know that when I go to New York I will feel like a kid in a candy store, there is truly nothing like the three story flagship store filled with candy!
Like I had mentioned I did treat myself and go to Trader Joe’s to stock up on some of my favorites. I know this may not be new to a lot of you who have been to Trader Joe’s but I just wanted to share with all of you a few of my favorites from the store!
I can not wait to enjoy all of my goodies that I picked up this week and look forward to seeing some of things you enjoyed this weekend! Also since I am newish to Trader Joe’s I would love to hear what some of your favorite items are that are worth trying!!
